DIRECTIONS & DISTANCES

The best mechanism to provide accurate turning instructions off US Highway One (US1) is to follow mile markers which are used extensively for just this reason.

FROM THE NORTH

Heading South towards Key West on US1, before mile marker 25, turn left onto East Shore Dr.  It will be the first turn after you go over the bridge leading to Summerland Key.  Approximately one mile down that road, East Shore Drive will merge into Ocean Drive.  At the point of the merge, look for a very hidden driveway on the left (on Ocean Drive) which is marked by a white sign that says Windswept.  The address is 987 Ocean Drive.

FROM THE SOUTH

Driving Northbound on US1 from Key West, turn right (exactly at mile marker 25) onto West Shore Drive.  Follow West Shore Drive until it curves right and merges with Ocean Drive.  Immediately after you merge onto Ocean Drive look for a driveway on the left marked with a white sign that says Windswept.  The address is 987 Ocean Drive.

Miami International Airport is 140 miles and takes about 2 hours 40 minutes

Key West is 25 miles away and approximately 20-30 minutes by car

Looe Key is a marine sanctuary and is about 7 miles to the south by boat
